With excitement, STATION announces the opening of a new gallery in Sydney. Located in a Victorian terrace building in Potts Point, this new space will serve as a complement and counterpoint to our Melbourne gallery. We will be launching STATION, Sydney in September 2019 to coincide with Sydney Contemporary.
Established in 2011, STATION represents a broad group of established and emerging Australian and international artists. STATION is dedicated to presenting a diverse, conceptually driven exhibition program, with the aim of fostering rigorous, critically engaged contemporary art practices.
The expansion to Sydney will present new opportunities for our artists to be positioned within a broader national and international dialogue, and for the gallery to build new relationships and audiences. Following the success of our current offsite exhibition in Berlin, we will be continuing to extend our global reach through regular presentations at art fairs and offsite projects in Australia and internationally.
