    Tom Polo has been curated into Sideshow, an exhibition that adopts the spatial logic of the circus sideshow as an allegorical blueprint for exhibition display. Curated by Isobel Parker Philip and showing at UTS Gallery in Sydney the exhibition will open on the 28th of October and will run until the 28th of November.

    Along with composer Huw Hallam, Michelle Ussher transformed one of her short stories into a 10 minute opera sung by Daniel Sinsel and Tom Woolner, wearing costumes also designed and made by the artist. The opera is based on a surreal psychological romance between two eyeballs, and the singers act as the psyche of the two sculptures, titled respectively Camilla and Ugo.

    We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert Hunter, Australia’s exemplary minimalist artist. Known for his delicately nuanced paintings of shades of white, Hunter was famously exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art’s 1974 exhibition Eight Contemporary Artists and continued to show his subtle and poetic works both nationally and internationally until his passing. Our heartfelt condolences are with his wife Janice and the rest of his family and friends.

    Tony Schwensen is participating in the Performance Art Festival in Salt Lake City this October, along with 15 other local and out-of-state artists. The festival runs over the 17th and 18th of October.

    Anna Kristensen’s The Indian Chamber is currently on display at the Wollongong Art Gallery. This 360-degree panoramic painting depicts the interior of a Jenolan cave in NSW, capturing the cave in a single, silent moment in time, however its circular nature provides a loop, returning and progressing, without beginning or end. The exhibition continues until the 2nd of November with Anna holding an artist talk on Wednesday the 17th of September, 12:30-1:30pm.

    Michelle Ussher currently has new sculptural works on display within The White Hotel, a group exhibition curated by Lucy Stein and Simon Bayliss at Gimple Fils Gallery in London. The exhibition runs until the 22nd of August.

    Daniel Boyd has been curated into the 2014 TarraWarra Biennial, this years biennial—its fourth iteration—has been curated by Natalie Kind and Djon Mundine, titled Whisper in my Mask it signals an exploration of masking, secrets and hidden narratives as psychological states. Opening on the 16th of August the exhibition will run until the 16th of November at the TarraWarra Museum of Art in Healesville, Victoria.

    We are very pleased to announce that Sydney-based artist Nell has joined the gallery. Nell's first exhibition with Station took place in October 2013 and we are very much looking forward to future shows of her multidisciplinary works fused with themes of birth, sex and morality, with their trademark Buddhist and rock ‘n’ roll motifs.     Tom Polo has been commissioned to create a series of new works for The List, a multidisciplinary art project that will be hosted by the Campbeltown Arts Centre. This exhibition offers complex insights into daily rituals and current issues within youth culture through socially engaged practices. Opening on the 8th of August the show runs until the 12th of October.
