Laith McGregor in 'Got it for Cheap' at Gallery Steinsland Berliner, Stockholm

19 May 2016

Laith McGregor is presenting a small group of works in Got it for Cheap, a traveling group show with over 200 participating artists at Gallery Steinsland Berliner, Stockholm. The exhibition is one night only, and the principle is: first come first served! No previews and no early admission. The idea is to create a democratic model where established, up-and-coming and unknown artists can show and sell alongside one another. The price is set at 300 Swedish krona to make the works affordable to people who are normally not able to buy original works as well as encouraging the artists to make quick and loose drawings. The works that are not sold during the shows will revert to their market prices the following day.

Opening on 20 May, this iteration is the second of three locations that the show will travel to, with it already being exhibited at David Risley Gallery, Copenhagen and soon to show at Agnes B's Gallerie du Jour, Paris.
