Ronnie van Hout in 'Hyper Real' at The National Gallery of Australia

19th Oct 2017

Ronnie van Hout will be presenting two works in Hyper Real at The National Gallery of Australia. An exhibition that provokes reflection, fascination, fear and joy. From eerily lifelike sculptures to out-of-this-world virtual reality, Hyper Real charts the evolution of hyperrealism into the 21st century. A compelling chronicle of the cycles of life and our constant need for connection, exploring the fundamental question: “what makes us human?”

Opening 20 October, the exhibition runs until 18 February 2018
